Karl is a tutor with StageFlight.

Karl was a co-founder, actor and director with Footprint Theatre for 10 years where he directed Arsenic and Old Lace (2012).

As a performer, he appeared in Footprint’s The Red Headed League radio play (2009), Ironbark – An Evening with Banjo Paterson (2010), I Didn’t Know (2010), The Best Place to Eat Spaghetti (2010) One Night Stand Impro Shows (2009/10/12), Ferdinand The Bull on tour (2011), Back to the Old Selection (2012) and Banjo At Mandeni (2012). He also performed with theatre Onset in Hamlet (2010), Shakespeare’s Star Wars (2015), Of Mice and Men (2018) and with Spectrum Theatre Group in Dimboola (2007) and Hotel Sorrento (2008). He performed at the Canberra Short+ Sweet Festival in Walking The Dog (2018). Karl has also performed patient role plays with medical students at ANU’s Rural Medical School.

Karl has made regular appearances at community events as “The Man From Snowy River” with a strong command of Banjo Patterson poetry recitals.

IMG_0454 Karl’s stage lighting skills are also in demand and has provided lighting for community theatre groups and musical events including Footprint Theatre, The Nomads, The Belles and Beaux of St Clements, Colleen’s Dance and Drama Studio as well as local bands.

Karl is also a poet and writer.

In addition to his theatrical activities, Karl is a director and network consultant with IT consulting company Nullarbor Consulting Pty Ltd.

He holds a current Working With Children Check.
