Written and performed by Camilla Blunden
When I grow up I want to be an old woman.
Jay feels invisible and anti-ageing ads worry her, but it’s being ignored once too often as just an old women that finally inspires her to investigate what this ‘third stage’ of life is.
All This Living! explores the offbeat world of the invisible, shrinking older woman. It premiered at The Street Theatre, Canberra in 2015 and is currently touring around NSW.
All This Living! will particularly resonate with seniors, but is suitable for most ages (some sexual references).
“The play promises humour, insight and a chance to talk about the taboo tangle of age and gender and sexuality and death. It’s a show for everyone.” – Canberra Times
“Blunden commands an impressive presence” – Canberra Times
